Stephanie Teong
Director / Architect
Stephanie graduated in a Master of Architecture from the prestigious University of Melbourne, Australia. Prior to that, she was awarded the undergraduate scholarship from the University of Melbourne and was one of the first batch to be invited to join the accelerated Master programme.
By chance, during her last year in university, she was recruited by Singapore’s largest consultancy firms called Surbana Corporation Pte Ltd. Surbana is a Singaporean government-owned consultancy company focusing on infrastructure and urban development. She started her career at the Malaysian branch office, Surbana International Malaysia Pty Ltd. During the duration of her stay in Surbana, she had the opportunity to be involved in International projects in both Singapore and Malaysia, pertaining the design of mixed-use buildings and sustainable townships.
In 2010 she founded TA Square, a design consultancy aimed in providing full scope architectural solutions. Together with a strong team of consultants, they have since completed buildings of all uses and have facilitated the handover of thousands of units over the course of 10 years.
Since then, under Stephanie’s leadership, TA Square has expanded internationally to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The portfolio boasts of completing several serviced apartments and several hotel and office mixed use buildings.
Other notable roles include her role as managing director in a leading anti-aging medical wellness group, Cell Quest, and as an advisory/investor in Goget, an on demand workforce technology based startup powered by a network of verified people.
Stephanie is a member Asean Business Association which is well-mixed Business Association with members from both Cambodia and foreign businesses from ASEAN countries.
